Story

At 00:05 on 28/01/2022 our little princess Olivia Anne Jenny Dunster unexpectedly entered the world a week early. Unfortunately the circumstances of her birth were very complicated resulting in her needing lots of medical support. Within a few hours of arriving, our girl was transferred to The Oliver Fisher Neonatal Unit at Medway Maritime hospital and spent the following 2 and half days in ICU where she received the best possible care that me and stacey could have asked for.

Our princess showed great courage, she fought so bravely to be with us and The Oliver Fisher Neonatal unit worked tirelessly to try and make her better, which gave me and Stacey invaluable precious time to spend with our beautiful Olivia. On the 30/01/2022, our hearts broke as Olivia drew her last breath, grew her set of wings and didn’t have to fight or struggle any longer. Myself and Stacey will be forever grateful to The Oliver Fisher unit for the exceptional care given to Olivia, as well as the compassion and respect shown to the three of us by everyone who worked there and this will stay with us for the rest of our lives.

Thank you for taking the time to read our story, myself and stacey promised that in Olivia’s memory we would do our upmost to raise awareness and funds for this wonderful charity, so for anyone who can donate however large or small, it would mean the absolute world to us both as I’m sure it would to The Oliver Fisher Neonatal Unit. Below is also a link to their website where you can read more about the charity and the incredible work they do!
