Following a diagnosis of bile duct and liver cancer on the 21st April 2016 at age just 50,, Dave had a short but brave battle with the illness. He maintained his fantastic sense of humour and dignity up until he passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, on the 21st May 2016. 

A wonderful son, husband, father, friend, colleague and a well respected member of the community. He was an amazing man with a zest for life who touched so many hearts.

In lieu of flowers at the funeral the family asked you to commemorate Dave's life by donating to this page and we appreciated you sharing your fond memories or stories that you had of him.

In the years that have followed, we have continued to support St Francis Hospice. We have enjoyed five golf days and two Painting and Prosecco Afternoons in memory of Dave. 

Dave continues to be missed by everybody who knew him.
