Thanks for taking the time to visit this JustGiving page which has been set up in loving memory of my brother Grieg Wilson Duncan. This year marks what would have been Greig’s 30th birthday and also 10 years since his passing so we want to do something special to celebrate his life and his memory.

Cruse Bereavement Care Scotland is a unique organisation as it is Scotland's only open-to-all bereavement charity. Their work offers bereaved people the vital support they so badly need when someone close passes away by providing personalised, quality support to bereaved adults and children. 

Grief comes in many shapes and sizes and can appear at any time. My grief appeared at its worst around 6 years after my brothers passing and it hit me like a tidal wave. I couldn’t understand or explain to family, friends and work colleagues why now after all this time? It was only through the support and care from Cruse that I could begin to put into words my thoughts and emotions and begin to understand it all. Without their service I don’t know what kind of mentality I would have today, so it’s about time I gave something back to them! 

That’s why myself and a team of friends, colleagues and loved ones have decided to commit to completing the Inverness Beast Race - a 10k obstacle course full of mud, water and mostly sweat and tears! Please donate kindly to a worthy cause.
