LDN Marathon for Tommy D

London Marathon 2023 · 23 April 2023 ·
On the 8th Jan, 2017 my best pal Tommy D passed away in his sleep due to an undiagnosed Heart condition.
Anyone that knew tom would tell you, this guy knew how to live life. The absolute life and soul and there isn’t a day he isn’t missed.
I owe Tommy so much, he helped me in some really dark and difficult times to see the sunshine again and since his passing I’ve always looked for ways to repay him. The charity Tom’s Mum and Dad chose to put their support behind was C.R.Y (Cardiac Risk In the Young) and I couldn’t agree more.
This incredible charity reduces the frequency of young sudden cardiac death, just like Tommy’s by working with cardiologists and family doctors to establish good practice and appropriate screening facilities to promote and protect the cardiac health of our young. This is a brilliantly organised and highly efficiently charity, it relies on the work of countless volunteers meaning any donations will go about 2-3 times further than others in the space.
Your support will not only honour Tommy’s memory, but will also help save young lives from these potentially fatal cardiac conditions.
You’re support will mean the world to Me, to Toms Mum Ros, Dad Steve and brother James. Not to mention the rest of his family, and huge a amount of friends he’s left too soon.
I can’t wait to personally thank you.
