Story
When recovering from Cancer I would see children going through unimaginable things. The thing that struck me most, however, was their irrepressible spirit, they always seemed to be accepting and happy in a way others may struggle with. Young children who lost their hair because of the treatments were undergoing was something that always affected me. When I heard of Little Princesses I had to get involved. They provide real hair wigs for boys and girls who have lost their hair for any reason, not just cancer. My children asked if they were to raise £1000 would I run in a princess dress, makeup and a wig, so here we are. My poor wife will be joining me, although not admitting to knowing me I fancy. No matter what pain or humiliation we go through it will be worth it to know somewhere a child will smile and go to school with dignity and confidence because we decided to make a difference. If you can give a little that would be great. If you can get others to give also that would be amazing. Thank you.
