Story

This year, I'm taking part in the toughest single day endurance event in the world -- Ironman.  On August 4th I'll be competing in Ironman UK in Bolton, a 2.4 mile swim, 112 bike ride, and a full marathon (26.2 miles) ...

... all within 17 hours!

I'm raising money for St David's Hospice Care (see links  on the right).  They're a fantastic organisation who provide hospice and home care for terminally ill people.

Six years ago they aided my mum so much, and with St David's help we were able to keep her at home until just a few hours before she passed away.  She thought the world of their caring, professional nurses.

St David's is funded purely through charitable donations.  Every penny you donate will go directly to St David's, and I can't think of a better cause.

I'm competing in my first Ironman in Mum's memory.

And if you think I've put this page up a bit early ... my training has already begun!  A full 30 week programme, 6 days per week, including several training races over the next few months until the big day (keep track of my training).

Please dig deep and show your support by a) leaving a donation, and b) shouting encouragement if you see me running and cycling about!

Thanks!
