Story

With your help we are trying to create a little happiness out of the death of Henri. In association with the US based charity Room to Read (www.roomtoread.org.) we look to build a school in Sri Lanka in early 2012.

For the last ten years Room to Read has built schools, libraries, published local language books and given scholarships to underprivileged girls across some of the Asia’s poorest nations.

As many of you know Henri had a natural passion for children, he met with Room to Read’s founder when we were in NYC and we feel that this is something he would be comfortable with us doing.

We have set ourselves with the objective of raising US$ 33,000; with a 50% contribution from the local community we can build a four-room school building that will hopefully change a number of children’s lives for the better.

Many people have kindly asked us if we had a charity in mind and if they could make a donation. We therefore take the liberty in opening our project to his friends & family.

There is obviously no emotional obligation to participate whatsoever and should you do so if please only do so for an amount you feel comfortable with.

With much love

Isabelle, James, Elinor, Jasper and of course...Henri
