At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Hello!!

On September 24th I am running a whole 13.1 miles to raise money for Alzheimers and Dementia- did you know that there are 850,000 people with dementia in the UK or that 1 in 6 people over 80 have the disease?? With an ageing population, rates are only going to get worse so there is no better time to donate!

It's a cause that means a lot to me as I lost my grandad a few years ago to the disease and I would love you to delve deep into those pockets and donate anything you can, no matter how small.

Those of you who know me know I am definitely not a runner so this could be interesting... it's been a long time since my cross country days; I thought i'd hung my trainers up for good a long time ago but alas no!!!

THANKS SO MUCH!!! xxxxxxxx
