Hello welcome to my fundraiser!

I have decided to hike the South West Coastal Path, the 630 mile long path that runs from Minehead in Somerset all the way through Devon and Cornwall to South Haven Point in Dorset. I will be backpacking and camping the entire way with everything I need in my backpack.

I have decided to do this hike for the charity Mind because I believe that it is a great charity for people who suffer with their mental health from anxiety and depression to substance abuse. Mind also campaigns to improve services, raise awareness, provide training to workplaces and organisations, legislation and protection of legal rights. 

I suffer myself with anxiety and use hiking and walking as a way of managing. I hope to use this hike in order to raise some money and as a way of promoting this charity to people. 

This hike will take me roughly 50 days to complete! In the guide book it says it is equivalent to 4 Mount Everest climbs! How insane! 

I am starting on the 11th of May and will document my whole journey on here and my Facebook and Instagram (@izzyy.smith on Instagram).
