RideLondon for VSO

Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 2019 · 4 August 2019 ·
On the 4th of August I will be cycling the Prudential Ride London (100 K through south London and into the heart of the capital to a spectacular finish on the Mall in front of Buckingham Palace). This event is the world's greatest festival of cycling and was pioneered by the Mayor of London back in 2013. I am taking part to raise money for Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO), which is one of the world's leading independent international development organisations that works through its network volunteers to fight poverty in developing countries.
I am an obstetrician and gynaecologist in the NHS in the UK so each day I look after patients who, if they were born in poor countries, may have died or been severely affected because of the lack of healthcare facilities and doctors. I am also a keen cyclist and this event is a good opportunity for me to join the 1,500 VSO volunteers who works to tackle poverty by empowering those really affected by it.
Please do support me so that my ride can help fund more work by VSO whose values centre on thinking together so we can change the word and enables progress by working together and sharing knowledge. People are the best agents of change so please sponsor me so that we can make a difference.
thank you
Ivana
