Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Each year we look to fund raise for various charities, this year we have a staff team fell walking the Yorkshire 3 Peaks on Saturday 15th September in aid of the MS Society UK.
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a condition that affects the brain and spinal cord. In MS, the coating that protects your nerves is damaged, and this causes a range of symptoms.
In 2013, the partner of one of our team was diagnosed with this condition and since then the support that the charity has given them has been priceless. The work that the MS Society and other similar organisations carry out help people with this condition helps in a range of ways such as personal support and advice, training medical professionals, research into the causes of MS and treatments to name a few.
We hope that in reaching out to our friends, family and followers that we can help support a worthy cause and hope that you can sponsor our charity event to raise money for a valuable organisation.
So our team have decided to undertake the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge. Navigated by our director - the intrepid Welsh mountain goat
Rob Henderson and Len Andrews they will guide us the 25 miles fell walk up the three peaks of Pen-y-Ghent (694 metres), Whernside (736 metres), Ingleborough (723 metres)
We would be very grateful for your support and any donations to raise funds for MS Society UK.
