Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Most people say we're crazy. Some say we have a death wish. Psychologists say people with an inclination to take high risks are a necessary part of the continuation of our species. We like to think we are raising money for an excellent charity and giving a little back. Watching John jump will for me and JJ be as good as its gets..

We are raising money as the support this Charity offers families affected by Cancer is crucial. 1 in 3 people are affected by Cancer so directly or indirectly it will affect us all. The charity does alot of work with families dealing with terminal illness and helping patients through the illness. We think this is definitely a cause worth raisng money for.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Ever Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

“Once upon a time, a man walking along a beach saw a boy picking up starfish and throwing them into the sea.

He asked the boy why he was throwing starfish into the sea.

The boy replied, "The tide is going out. If I don't throw them in, they'll dry up and die."

The man smiled patronisingly and said, "But, there are miles of beach and thousands of starfish on every mile. You can't possibly make a difference!"

The boy smiled, bent down, picked up another starfish, and threw it into the sea.

"Well," he said, "I made a difference for that one."

We  can all make a difference
