Relay Channel Swim · 2 September 2017

Every two hours someone in the UK is paralysed by a spinal cord injury. It can happen to anyone at any time and no one is prepared for how it will change their life. Aspire is a national charity that provides practical help, supporting spinal cord injured people from injury to independence.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page! This September I'll be plunging back into ice cold waters once again!

After completing a Robben Island marathon swim in South Africa in 2014, I've decided to take on the mother of all open water swims, the Channel!

Together with a team of 5 brave swimmers,we'll be attempting to swim from England to France! A distance of 21 miles in water temperatures hovering around the 15c mark (strictly no wet suits allowed!).

We're taking on the challenge in the name of Aspire, a fantastic charity that provides practical help to people who have been paralysed by spinal cord injury.

Please support me as I attempt the challenge of a lifetime and help me to raise as much as possible for an important cause!
