The Color Run Birmingham 2016 · 20 August 2016 ·

The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

Hey Guys! My name is Jack Burman and i am fundraising for The Princes Trust. I will running a 5k run on 20th August 2016 at the NEC UK Birmingham. Its not a lot. But its a start.

I didn't really know about the Prices Trust. However reading their Bio, i had to choose them. I chosen this because of one thing...

I will ask you a question... What did you dream when you was a kid? Are you doing that dream now? I know what its like to have a dream. But what if you was told you couldn't chase that dream, because you was vulnerable, didn't have the needs, not very confident, scared, anxious, or you didn't have the motivation! The Prince Trust helps children like that. The more money we/you raise, the more children who have a dream, can go out and achieve it. Lets not think about ourselves now. Lets think about them. The people who want to make a change and have their dreams.

I haven't done a running event before. So its going to be different and challenging for me. But that doesn't matter. What really matters is that we CAN CHANGE YOUNG PEOPLES LIVES! That is something to feel good about right?

Every little helps. I am not asking for me. I am asking for them. Just like you are giving, for them

I am also running with Fraser Wallwork and Liam Carter. Fraser is running for the Multiple Sclerosis society. Go check out his page and donate there as well! - https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/Fraser-Wallwork-Fundraise
