My journey starts with my mental health, and how important fitness has been to me in the past to support this.

On that note I am now a desk jockey and working from home so this is a big shock to the fitness system but let’s go!!

Wirral St John’s

Wirral St John’s were amazing with my grandad towards the end of a long battle with cancer. He spent the last 3 months of his life there, they were very caring/supportive, not just with my grandad but also with the family.

Making the last 3 months so much more comfortable and helped him deal with the changes that were happening, also did the same for my mum, aunty and uncle and the rest of the family.

They have various activities for rehabilitation which my grandad loved as he was a very keen baker/cook. This is just one of the activities that they do to support mental health for their patients.

THE COST FOR A PATIENT TO BE ADMITTED FOR 1 DAY IS £500!!!!!!!!

MY GRANDAD

He was a very strong willed and outspoken man, but very understanding and kind at heart. He has helped me so many times over the past 20 years, helping fund my first car to being a very good listener and advisor.

During his life, he kept himself very fit and healthy and was always helping others. So this is me taking inspiration from my grandad as even now he is still a voice I listen to if I need advice.
