Run for Relief In Burma · 10 October 2009
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Thousands in Burma are forced by their own government to flee their homes and run for for their lives. You can help.
For the past two years the Edinburgh Run for Relief in Burma has been a great success, with hundreds of runners and walkers raising over £7600 to help internally displaced people in Burma. But there's still more to do! So we're running again this year on Saturday 10 October 2009 in Inverleith Park.Run for Relief is part of a global effort to help the people of Burma through funding humanitarian relief and increasing awareness of their plight. By participating - either by running or giving - you join with them, as well as runners in similar races in Norway, Thailand, Australia and the United States, in a stand for truth and freedom.Your donation through this page will go straight to helping those who are so desperately in need. Come and join us! The race will start at 11am with prizes awarded afterward. A free lunch is offered after the race for those who want to learn more about the issues affecting Burma today - and what you can do to help.Register Now!
