Story

The race has finished but you can still donate, I came quite a respectable 1501 out of over 7200 runners, my time was 52 mins 46 which was a personal best. Also, offline ive raised over 400 pounds. So thanks to everyone.

Hi all.

I am running the 10k this sunday (September 6th) and hoping to raise money for The Haven Centre. As some of you already know my auntie passed away in March, through a heart attack which was brought about by years of chemotherapy and radiotherapy treament for cancer. Throughout her battle with cancer she made good use of the Haven Centre which supports sufferers of cancer, as well as MS, Huntington's Disease and Motor Neurone Disease. It allows people suffering from these illnesses a bit of escapism.

So please donate something even if it's just a pound.

Thanks a million

Jackie
