Story
Hey, big thanks for visiting my JustGiving page!
Most of you know that I like a nice stroll every now and then, and that I can often be seen walking at a pace faster than most joggers, but ashamedly that’s usually only because I'm rushing for a train/bus or in a hurry to get home to chill out, BUT for me, walking just got serious!
I am pretty much certain that all of us have been affected in one way or another by the evil that is cancer, and over the past year alone too many people who are dear to my heart have had their lives turned upside-down because of this awful disease. This is why, in September, I am raising money by walking the streets of London after dark (without a drop of alcohol in my system!) at Shine Night Walk to help Cancer Research UK fund its life-saving work.
Luckily I won't have to walk the 13.1 miles alone, I am walking with two awesome and inspiring buddies, you can see why they're walking at their pages via our team page justgiving.com/jjywalks and see how close we are to our team target too!
Each year Cancer Research UK’s scientists get closer to beating cancer, and they’ve helped double survival rates in the last 40 years. But we can’t stop there - only with our continued support can they turn this research into breakthroughs that save millions of lives. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s ground-breaking work, so pleeeeeease do sponsor me now.

Sleep can so wait...but beating cancer can’t!
