Who are we?
We are three first-year students from the University of Kent, who all have a passion for travel, and apparently very lofty ambitions!

What are we doing?
On the 24th of February 2017 we will be attempting to travel as far as possible way from the University of Kent in 36 hours, relying on the kindness of the general public to help us get away. Any means of travel that could be donated to help our journey would be greatly appreciated, be it plane tickets, train tickets, or a lift in a car :)

Why Alzheimer’s Society?
There are currently 850,000 people with dementia in the UK. Alzheimers Society are the only UK charity investing in research into dementia care, cause, cure and prevention, and are committed on spending £150million on research over the next decade. They also help offer information, care and support to those affected directly and indirectly by dementia, through their over 3000 support services across the UK. As mentioned before, we have all known someone close to us who has or is currently being affected with dementia, and believe it to be a worthwhile cause to contribute to.
