Sue Ryder is here to make sure everyone approaching the end of their life or living with grief can get the support they need. There is no one size fits all when it comes to how we cope and the help we need, but with our support, no one has to face dying or grief alone. We are there when it matters.

Story

Parents and children that attended Swavesey Village College and came into contact with Martin, will have been touched by his determination and belief that every child mattered.  He led by example, instilling that ethos in every member of staff and at just 47, sadly passed away in May 2013.
Pauline Orton, who was my mother-in-law and a devoted mother to Julie and grannie to Jordan and Christian, sadly passed away in May 2014.

Both Martin and Pauline were cared for by the staff at Sue Ryder, Thorpe Hall Hospice but the 17th Century building is in need of modernisation.  £135,000 is required to support this cause and I hope that you can play a small part by sponsoring me so that collectively, we can support other patients to be cared for in the same way that Martin and Pauline were, in a new single-storey facility. Thank you, Jairo
