Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. More information about the whole team challenge is available here: http://www.justgiving.com/goldpostboxcyclechallenge

Inspired by last year's London Olympic games and determined to keep the legacy alive, my girlfriends company had the crazy idea of cycling to all 62 olympic gold postboxes in the UK, which were painted in honour of our gold medal winners.

Cycling from their offices in Solihull and Coventry, the aim is to cycle to each and every olympic gold postbox over a 3 month period - that's around 3,600 miles. In the process we aim to raise lots of money for cancer support charity, Macmillan.  A cause which you will know is close to my heart after my Kilimanjaro challenge a couple of years ago.

I'm cyclying on 3 of the legs - 50, 108 and 238 miles....

None of us are professional cyclists - indeed many of us have got on a bike for the first time in many years!
