Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

Some say Mont Ventoux is the hardest of all the mythical Tour de France climbs and rightly so. The mountain achieved worldwide notoriety when it claimed the life of the great English cyclist Tom Simpson, who died here on July 13th 1967 from a combination of a stomach upset, heat exhaustion, alcohol and amphetamines. I plan on avoiding death on this trip.

This is the traditional Mont Ventoux challenge. To become a member o

the Cinglés Club you need to climb the mountain by the 3 traditional

ways from Bedoin, Malaucene and Sault

all in one day.

Total distance 135km Total height gained 4381m

This is a challenge I have always wanted to try and and to do so for Parkinson's UK is ideal. My Gran suffered with Parkinson's towards the end of her life and watching her go through that was not pleasant. If I can raise a few pounds to helps sufferers and aid research then fantastic.

Please help in any small way you can. I will be riding on the 18th of June and I hope to be finished in time to watch Iceland v Hungary. What a dream.
