Sport has tremendous physical, psychological and social benefits for the participants, particularly young people. WheelPower provides and promotes opportunities for thousands of children and young adults with disabilities to participate in recreational and competitive wheelchair sport and improve their quality of life.

Story

As a member of staff that works at Stoke Mandeville Stadium on a daily basis I see the benefits that WheelPower offer on a local and national scale to wheelchair users looking to become more physically active.

The ability to offer inclusive sport alongside local community provision is unique and cannot be underestimated to the area as a whole. I have the opportunity combine one of my hobbies in cycling with fund raising for a charity I work with everyday. I have the privilege to see those funds making a difference on to users on a daily basis.

Thanks for taking the time to hopefully donate and raise the profile of WheelPower.
