We‘re the world‘s leading cancer charity dedicated to saving and improving lives through research. We fund research into the prevention, detection and treatment of more than 200 types of cancer through the work of over 4,000 scientists, doctors and nurses.

Story

Sadly, over the past 12 months my family has had way too many dealings with cancer. I've witnessed people being diagnosed, I've seen the treatment people have received and thankfully I've watched people battle through, but unfortunately for the most part I've watched people lose their battle.

The one thing that has been consistent throughout is the unwavering support that charities like Cancer Research UK provide.

So I wanted to try and give a little back.

Most of you know that I'm not particularly athletic, have zero coordination, not massively competitive and would rather do anything than get punched in my pretty face.

So, therefore I've decided to step in the ring, windmill around and get punched in the face to raise some cash.

Fingers crossed, I'll be fighting on the 20th November at the Royal Armouries in Leeds and, in a shocking turn of events, I've had a worrying amount of 'friends' wanting to part company with their hard earned cash in order to witness me getting punched repeatedly in the face for three rounds, live. Sadly I'm out of tickets, but if anyone wants to show your support for the guy in the opposite corner then please donate and help me raise some cash for a great charity.
