Hello everyone. So here we are again... I'm running my 8th consecutive London Marathon and am once again asking for your help, support, love and most important of all, cold hard cash to help me raise a combined total of £250,000.

I'm running for Cancer Research UK and have set the massive target of £65,000. I know it is a huge amount but having raised around £185,000 over the last seven years, I know what a lot of hard work, a lot of passion and most importantly, a lot of love and support can do.

Like I said last year, I might do all the long, lonely training runs in the freezing windy rain (yes I'm guilt tripping... AGAIN) but you are the ones who donate year-on-year and none of this would be possible without your help.

Cancer is such an evil, vile disease that finds a way of getting its claws into us all in one way or another. Statistics now show that 1 in 2 of us will get it at some point. Not only are we personally at risk of getting the disease but that's a lot of family, friends and loved ones at risk too.

Please help Cancer Research UK beat cancer sooner by donating whatever you can (preferably a lot).
