I am undertaking a 2017/2018 mission to raise money for the Hull based Kids Charity, which helps families living with disabilities and special needs. The charity has done so much for both my immediate and extended family, as well as helping many of our friends.

Rachel has already raised several thousand pounds for them by organising charity nights, which she will be doing again this year at Napoleon's Casino on 8th March 2017. I will be partaking in this too, but don't let that put you off.

Seeing the opportunity to get involved, I have signed up to do the Tandem Skydive at Hibaldstow Airfield on 24th June. Crazy I know!

I also plan to take part in a 2 day endurance cycle across the Country called the Coast to Coast in May, along with Rachel's brother Steve.

I would also like to challenge myself further and enter the Great North Run later in the year. Entry is via a ballot and I hope to be successful. If not I will try another half marathon.

These are all challenges far greater than I have ever attempted, but I believe that I will achieve them, the same way Kids made us believe that we could help Kyan live a normal life with the daily struggles he faces.

Anyone who has had experienced help from Kids will know what an exceptional organisation they are. I would therefore ask you to donate anything that you can to my fundraising efforts.
