Ever since we met almost 34 years ago, James, or Jim as most people knew him, was always 'into' motorbikes - on our first date we rode through Hyde Park and around central London. Over the years our lives changed, marriage, house, children, but the bikes were always a constant at home and as his work. Jim knew the dangers of riding and because of this he supported London's Air Ambulance because of their lifesaving work with injured bikers.

Jim's diagnosis of Accute Interstitial Pneumonitis in 2018 put an end to his bike riding, but he continued to support his chosen charity every month. On January 10th Jim lost his brave fight against AIP and Covid-19 and we know that as tributes to him, his wish would be that donations were made to London's Air Ambulance Charity.
