Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am fundraising for Epilepsy Action, by taking part in the Thames Path Challenge, walking 100km (62 miles) from Putney to Henley-On-Thames this September.
I was diagnosed with Epilepsy in 2012, and it has taken a while to come to terms with the condition. As a result of my diagnosis, I have suffered from depression and anxiety and it still effects my every day life. Fortunately however, I am one of the lucky ones, and only experience seizures every couple of years. There are many for whom seizures are a daily occurrence.
Epilepsy affects 600,000 people in the UK, and around 1,000 people die every year from the condition.
I want to raise £1,000 for Epilepsy Action. Epilepsy Action aim to provide support and expert advice, raising the awareness and fight for a better deal for people with epilepsy.
