Cri du chat syndrome is a rare genetic disorder due to a missing part of chromosome 5. The syndrome gets its name from the characteristic cry of affected infants and symptoms may include feeding problems, poor growth, severe cognitive, speech, and motor delays, behavioural problems and unusual facial features.

  

I am raising money for the Cri Du Chat Syndrome Support Group whose vision is for a society that values and nurtures those with Cri du Chat syndrome enabling them to live full, happy and healthier lives.

  

All I need to do is raise £100 in text donations through JustTextGiving by 24 December. When I reach that target of text donations Vodafone will add another £100 for the charity.

 

This is a cause close to my heart as I have a wonderful niece with this disorder. Please help me to reach my target!
