Brighton Memory Walk, Hove Lawns · 8 October 2016 ·

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Our Nan has struggled with Alzheimer's for as long as I can remember.  For someone so bright, bubbly and charismatic, it is awful to watch her slowly deteriorate. It is even worse for her husband of 65 years, who sees her slowly slipping out of his arms each day. This is why my sister and I are doing this Memory walk to play our part in the war against Alzheimer's. One day, there will be no Alzheimer's!

If you would like to also sponsor my dad, who is also doing the walk with us, his page is www.justgiving.com/MW16colinpotter.

Thank you.
