Story
I'm taking part in the Duchenne Dash - Duchenne UK's signature fundraising event, which challenges cyclists to ride 300km from London to Paris in 24 hours.
We will start from Herne Hill at 13:00, ride to Newhaven (100k), get the overnight ferry and try and get some sleep (anyone who knows me will attest that I need my sleep!), before departing Diep at 5:00 to cover 200Km into Paris.
I have trained indoors, driving my family mad, outside in the freezing, dark winter(still driving the family mad!) and even carried my bike halfway across the world to keep my training up when being in Singapore with work.
Please help me hit the challenging target as I am working hard to do the KM’s in preparation.
All money raised from the Duchenne Dash funds vital research and accelerates the development of treatments for Duchenne muscular dystrophy, a devastating muscle-wasting disease diagnosed in childhood. Please donate and together, we will end Duchenne!
Thanks so much,
James
