Grace House North East offers a range of specialist services to support children and young people who have complex disabilities and associated health needs, and their whole family.

Story

My name is James Atkinson and I'm participating in the 2014 Great North Run in aid of Grace House North East Children's Hospice Appeal.

Grace House Children's Hospice provides specialist care for hundreds of children in the region who are not expected to reach adulthood as a result of terminal illnesses. It acts as a home from home for children with debilitating life - threatening conditions, as well as providing support for their families, respite and terminal care.

With your help, Grace House will provide a range of professional support including practical help, nursing care,  and bereavement support to terminally ill children and their families 24 hours a day,  365 days a year. Children for which there is no reasonable hope of cure.

Grace House is a registered charity and at present receive no Government funding, all the income is through donations through fundraising activities.

Please give generously today and help make the ambition for Grace House North East a reality!
