Hi everyone
In Just over a week I will be spending 8 hours a day in a saddle, every day for 5 days. Why would I do this? My school friend Amanda, same age as me, sadly died of cancer a few months ago in Velindre Cancer Hospital, and whilst the great care and support she received couldn’t save her life, I know many other lives are saved.
The cycle ride is taking place in San Francisco, across the Sierra Nevada Mountains, ending at the iconic Golden Gate Bridge.
I will be joined by Dave Roberts the 11 times Paralympic Gold Medallist Swimmer and our very own Welsh weather goddess, Sian Lloyd, plus many others.
