Hello, 

Thanks for visiting our page, Myself, Dad, Jayce and Kane have decided to complete the 2020 Brighton Marathon raising money for ECHO (Evelina Children's Heart Organisation).

Back in 2012 my eldest son Finley was diagnosed with several heart conditions at the tiny age of 4 weeks old, 2 weeks later he was undergoing life saving open heart surgery to repair an extremely large VSD (Ventricular septal defect) and ASD (Atrial septal defect) (holes to lower and upper chambers of the heart), it was an extremely tough time on myself my fiance and my family, ECHO were amazing offering support for the duration of our stay at the hospital and offered advice and someone to talk to in our toughest times, we regularly attend charity events organised by the team at ECHO with hundreds of other family's who children are affected by CHD (Coronary heart disease).

We are extremely lucky and thankful that Finley made a full recovery after surgery and can live like any other child, he loves his computer games, running around and attends gymnastics club, he is an extremely active 7 year old who one day would love to run a marathon himself :).

Finley will need yearly checkups for the rest of his life as he still has small heart issues that may need further surgery later on in life, hopefully not but the checkups are essential.

please dig deep for this amazing charity, they are a real amazing team the offer so much support for family's going through extremely tough times and offer so much fun to children suffering with CHD.
