Story

Back in the summer of 2009 my niece Mollie Podmore who was aged 4 at the time was diagnosed with Leukemea.

It was a traumatic time for Mollie , her family and friends. What followed was regular trips to the Royal Marsden Hopsital in Surrey and two years worth of chemotherapy treatment.

Thanks to the excellent care Mollie received by the Marsden, in September 2011 she had the last of her treatment.

During her treatment Mollie took it all in her stride, and is an inspiration to us all, at how brave & courageous she was fighting the Leukemea.

I am taking park in the Hastings Half Marathon on Sunday 25th March 2012 in aid of the Royal Marsden Hopsital to help raise money so more children like Mollie are able to have the treatment so they can get back to leading a normal life.
