Story

Asalaamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh.

My family lost a beautiful soul on the 8th April 2020 due to Covid-19.

There are numerous other families, that are also currently going through this difficult time.

Abu Hurairah narrated that Prophet (pbuh) said,

When a man dies, his good deeds come to an end except three things: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, and righteous offspring who will pray for him.

As sadaqah jariyah, I would like to fundraise on behalf of my beloved, martyred father (Jamshed Siddiqui) and many other martyrs who have passed away during this pandemic.

We are currently in the last 10 days of this blessed month of ramadan, the virtue of charity in ramadan equals seventy fold.

Zakat donations are applicable for this cause. If your donating Zakat, then please state Zakat in the comment box.

Abu Huraira reported: The prophet (pbuh) said:

Charity does not decrease wealth.."

"Charity extinguishes sins, just as water extinguishes fire"

"Believers shade on the day of resurrection will be his charity"

I've decided to work along side Muslim Aid and fundraise for the Education Forever project.

This project will help those who have lost their school due to the destruction of war, displaced refugee in camps and those who live in rural areas where access to education is scarce.

This project will involve:

  • Rebuilding a demolished school
  • Providing uniforms
  • Daily free school meals
  • Fresh clean water stations
  • Toilets
  • Uniforms
  • Books

160 children will benefit from this project, each year for several years to come inshallah in the following countries:

  • Myanmar
  • Bosnia
  • Bangladesh
  • Sri Lanka
  • Pakistan

Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) said:

"Seek knowledge from the Cradle to the Grave"

One of the most powerful things you can offer someone is knowledge.

You will be making a difference to the lives of those in the greatest of need, saving lives and transforming communities for good.

From supporting young children into education, providing long-term water solutions to drought affected communities, to giving women opportunities to earn a living to provide for their families.

Any contributions would be greatly appreciated no matter how small. Please forward onto your family and friends.

If you're able to donate may Allah (swt) reward you abundantly, if not but have intention to do so may Allah (swt) reward you too.

Jazakaala khair.
