I along with a fantastic group of girls completed the 5k Muddy Run in September and had a truly brilliant time. I myself have been affected by cancer. Now my treatment is almost over, I am on the mend. 

Cancer research gets thousands of pounds in donations every year but sometimes some of the other charities that get you through each day get over looked. That is why I have decided with a group of friends to try to raise some much needed money to help a local charity that have supported me, The Mustard Tree in Plymouth. They have helped by just being there at a dark time. Many people use this service from a simple cup of tea and a listening ear to much needed pamper sessions, massage and financial help and advice. They provide a valuable service but many times get forgotten. People focus on the medical side and the medicine to help you get better......but, like gin, you also need the tonic to get you through it. 

I have set up  this" Just Giving Page" so hopefully people will help me to support this cause. 

This page will get shared with all the people who will be running with me.... Donna, Georgia,Becky, Zowie, Jane, Justyna, Sophie and Cathy. 

I need to mention a special huge Thank You to my amazing precious daughter Ashley who has kept me going through every stage of this vile disease. She will be there on the day cheering ( and laughing) us all on also being the official photographer! 

We have all paid to enter the race and that money will go to Cancer research. Any money raised through this Just Giving Page will go to the Mustard Tree in Plymouth.
