Having battled through 8 months of treatment for triple negative breast cancer in 2012, every day now feels like a blessing and I am thankful to be here.  Brilliantly supported by my husband, family and friends during and after treatment, in April 2013 I successfully completed The Great Wall of China Cycle Challenge, cycling 455km to raise funds for my chosen charity, Breakthrough Breast Cancer.  When I was approached by Breakthrough to run one of their Great Pink Bake Offs I was delighted to be able to help as had discovered the therapeutic benefits of baking during chemotherapy last year (proof in the photos attached of an excellent way to distract myself with something creative, positive and calorific...)

My Great Pink Bake Off is being held on 1 November 2013 and many friends have kindly agreed to bake some cakes to help raise funds on the day.  But for those unable to attend the event, this JustGiving page is a simple, fast and totally secure way to donate should you wish to do so - I can also produce cakes/ bakes on request if you would like some dough for your dough!

Every penny raised goes directly to Breakthrough so every penny counts.
