I will be running my first ever Marathon in April 2019. I really didn’t expect my first ballot entry to the London Marathon to be successful but it was obviously meant to be! 

Blood cancer has impacted my family this year. Also my dear friend Ginny has a 10 year old son called Ben who has recently received a stem cell transplant from an unknown donor. 

The DKMS register donors via a swab test, the cost of this is £40 per registration, if a match is found stem cells are taken from the donors blood to help save lives. DKMS delete blood cancer.

I am hoping to raise funds and awareness for DKMS through my London Marathon Challenge. I would be very grateful for any support you can possibly give. Please consider joining the DKMS register and if you can sponsor my run to help raise funds that would be amazing! This will mean a lot to Ginny and her son Ben.
