We've been providing tailored and holistic care to those in need in the Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset area for over 40 years. At your home or ours, we provide care without prejudice, regardless of condition, religion, beliefs or age - and always with your best interests at heart.

Story

Wing Walking has been on my bucket list since I saw Phillip Schofield do it in South Africa last year. And now, I have a great reason to do it! The Room to Care Appeal is raising funds to rebuild the Inpatient Unit at the Hospice in Brentry.

As a Community Nurse Specialist for St Peter's Hospice I can see firsthand how necessary this work is and I'm proud to be fundraising to help see the completion of this important project.

For those that know me, you may know that I am scared (not just afraid!) of heights and therefore, this will be no easy feat! I comfort myself by thinking that at least I don't have to jump out of the plane...I will stay attached to it! But, still, this is quite a daring adventure and as you will most likely be able to hear my screams from wherever you may be, I would greatly appreciate your support. All sponsorship raised from this will go directly to the St Peter's Hospice Room to Care Appeal.

Thank you so very much, Jane.

St Peter's Hospice is Bristol's ONLY adult hospice caring for local people with life-limiting illnesses. Our commitment is to improve the quality of life of patients while extending care and support to their families and loved ones. All of our care is provided free of charge, but it costs us around £20,000 a day to provide that care. For most of this money we rely on Gifts in Wills, donations, fundraising and our shops.
