Cardiac Risk in the YoungVerified by JustGiving
RCN 1050845, SC052581
Each week at least twelve young people in the UK die suddenly as a result of undiagnosed heart conditions. At Cardiac Risk In the Young we aim to save young lives & to help those affected by the sudden cardiac death. We do this by providing support, information & screening those affected.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Every week just in the UK -12 allegedly fit young adults die of an undiagnosed heart condition, that figure is much higher when you add in those that die from Sudden Adult Death Syndrone , probably another 16, every week, just in the UK.

On the 3rd September 2012, Louise became one of those numbers.

Louise was my sons girlfriend - they had just celebrated their 5th anniversary by walking over the 02 arena. (Trying to attach the photo!)

Louise had just won a PHD to conduct research into TB - She really would have made a difference to people's lives - not just to those that knew her - but with her research I'm sure helping loads of others and saving lives.

I'm walking in Lou's memory so that perhaps I can help save others as I know she would have done.
