If you know me you probably know how much this charity means to me. They have given me the confidence to speak up about things that affect not just me, but probably the majority of people with disabilities. 

It's difficult to believe that our charity started out as a council run drama group for young people living with disabilities. Since 2000, it has worked with no fewer than 40 people.

It's great working with such a great bunch of people, creating work that matters and giving people with disabilities a voice. We currently have 10 members for whom Proud & Loud Arts is much more than just a drama group. We have become like a little family. 

In 2017 I hope to raise £1,500 which will help to ensure that the group can keep going.
