Jan was an amazing lady who made Wednesdays something to look forward to every week. Her determination to achieve and succeed amazed us every day, if set a difficult target of 5 sit to stands, she would go for 10, and trying to stop her pedalling on the side by side with Mike was futile!  We loved having Jan in our lives!!!

Janice Wilkinson died at the Lister Hospital on 20/2/18. She was a happy, generous and loving woman who volunteered for the Hitchin St Saviours Baby and Toddler club for 30 Years. Janice also had learning difficulties.

Following her death the Lister Hospital, Stevenage has reviewed and revised its policies seeking to improve the healthcare given to people with disabilities. (On average people with learning disabilities die 16 years earlier than people without learning disabilities.)

The money raised by the golf day will help support these local heroes in a real and practical way.
