It's really hard to see your loved ones fading from their memories. My dad has been diagnosed with Dementia few years back and really hurts when I see him not remembering people around him. 

He was a very strong man and supported 3 children and  more so he helped most of the relatives as well. He was an active volunteer in Hong Kong community and served most of his life doing seva(serving people in the temple). He has contributed for over 40 years in the temple serving people(rain or shine or even typhoon). He walked roughly 5 miles when there was no transport available in bad weather during early morning hours.

Last few years have been tough not only for us the family but himself. He has always been a very independent person and is slowly become very dependent preforming simplest of tasks like taking his medicines! I understand his frustration completely and hope a cure can be developed soon.

I know I am no doctor so the only way I feel fit to contribute is by raising awareness and funds through charity events!
