PARC (Essex) is a, purpose built, Play and Resource Centre for children and young adults with disabilities and special needs. PARC aims to support these amazing children by encouraging them to communicate and learn valuable life skills, through play and other safe, organised activities. But the services at PARC do not stop there! Not only is it a facility to give children with disabilities the chance to experience new and exciting things, it aims to support the entire family, by providing short term respite, in the form of after school clubs and holiday sessions, as well as many other services!

PARC relies heavily on donations! Donations mean that the centre stays open, the services continue and PARC can grow and change to keep up with the demands and to support the 470 families that we currently cater for!

It's not only PARCs 20th Birthday this year, it's my 5th year as a member of the team! Even though I have only been with PARC for a quarter of it's life, I've seen the centre develop and the services grow. I have witnessed, first hand, what our children and families can achieve, with our help and support! Its nothing short of amazing! 

Help PARC by sponsoring me as I take on the Harlow Water Tower, with fellow PARC Staff and PARC parents! I will be abseiling on Sunday 3rd May at 2pm!

Now I'm usually one to practice/train, but I think I'll stick to the youTube videos and beginners guides this time!
