Our Suicide Crisis Centres offer a safe place where individuals are supported and helped through a crisis. We are open 24 hours a day for people at high risk of suicide. We have been providing services since 2013 and have never had a suicide of a client under our care.

Story

Some shocking statistics:

This year alone 84 men a week die by suicide, that’s 12 per day, one every 2 hours.

  • In 2017 there were 6,213 suicides in the UK and Republic of Ireland.

  • 5,821 suicides were registered in the UK and 392 occurred in the Republic of Ireland.

  • In the UK men remain three times as likely to take their own lives than women, and in the Republic of Ireland four times more likely.

  • The highest suicide rate in the UK was for men aged 45-49.

Suicide Crisis Centres offer a safe place where you will be supported and helped through your crisis. We have a team of dedicated, caring, well-trained people who really want to help.

We provide face to face crisis support. Our new Centre is open 24 hours a day for people at high risk of suicide.
