Story

I am taking part in Battle of the Badges on, which is the annual fundraising football match between Team Police and Team Fire, that raises vital funds for The Archie Foundation. The game is being held on the 11th of June at Balmoral stadium.

Each year, every player gets partnered up with a mascot that has been supported by NHS or The Archie Foundation. The mascots help the players to fundraise and are a huge part of the match itself.

This year my mascot is James Slater. James is a triplet who spent 7 weeks in the neonatal unit. I'm really excited to have James as my mascot this year and I hope he is equally as excited to cheer me on!

The Archie Foundation exists to make the difference in healthcare and bereavement for children, babies and their families in the North of Scotland."
