In November 2015 my nephew Harrison (4) was diagnosed with Becker muscle Dystrophy. BMD is a genetic muscle wasting disease of which there is currently no cure. There is a wide variation in the severity of the condition but walking ability is usually lost between 40-60, but can be early as the teenage years. Life expectancy is shortened and heart complications are common. I therefore want to raise as much money as possible to help fund the research of this disease.

On Saturday July 2nd 2016 i will attempt with the help of others to complete 500 miles which is the equivalent of cycling from Reading to Dundee ( Scotland). To achieve this we will need to cycle non stop for 24 hrs at a pace of 20 miles per Hour. The event will be taking place at Rivers health club in Reading. Please pop down to give your support.
