I had an AVM rupture and high intercranial pressure (swelling of my Brain). As a result I had two decompresssive craniectomies. My AVM has been embolised but a part of that AVM still requires radiation therapy.

AVMs are unique and much needed research is required to find a permanent cure without the need of surgery, embolisation or radiation therapy. I am lucky to have survived my AVM ordeal and without any brain damage or physical disabilities. There are many who have not been so fortunate.
