Sponsored Drum Challenge

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have recently resurrected my Drum Kit from the loft to make some money for Mencap!

On the 24th June 2011 I will be taking to the stage for the first time in 18 years to play the Drums on one song with local band 'The Overdogs'.  I have not played since I was a teenager and between now and this date I will be learning to play this piece from scratch, I will leave the song a surprise for now but I can promise you it’s not an easy. So please sponsor me for this worthy cause.

This Drum Challenge will form part of which promises to be a fun night for all.  Additionally ‘The Overdogs’ will be performing a full set and there will be a disco also.  So if you are interested in attending the event in person please contact me direct for tickets.

And I want to say a big Thank You to The Overdogs - Tim, Rob, Adam and Andy who wthout their kindness and generosity to perform on the night without a fee this would not all be possible. Also thank you to Jane at ebay who so kindly agreed to post the additional drum I needed to help with the challenge. And to Claire and Rachel for my new cymbal and stand.
